Training courses, events and resources for professionals involved in face-to-face science engagement develop the skills of professionals interacting with lay audience in the field of science and technology
The École de la Médiation is a multi-partner project running by Universcience in association with three teaching and research institutions – Cnam, Université Paris-Saclay and Université Paris Cité – and three organizations dedicated to public engagement with science : Les Petits Débrouillards, Planète Science and Traces.
It supports the development of skills in face-to-face science engagement :
- 2-days training courses for professionals involved in scientific dissemination, science outreach, public engagement with science, including facilitators, science explainers, educators, researchers
- Monthly meetings with science educators and facilitators community to learn about innovative tools, challenge your practices and extend your network
- Research & Development of innovative practices and representations in face-to-face science engagement activities
- Sharing resources and tools on all these themes for professional in science communication
